Located just over an hour's drive south of Sydney in the Royal National Park, Bundeena is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year. 

There are four local beaches to explore - Bonnie Vale (accessible by private track from Simpson Cottage), Horderns, Gunyah and Jibbon - and many bushwalks offering spectacular views and plenty of native wildlife to spot.

TRANSPORT FROM SYDNEY AIRPORT

From Sydney Airport take the Illawarra Line train towards Cronulla Station. Alighting at Cronulla Station, walk approx. 3 minutes to the Cronulla Ferries wharf to board the Bundeena Ferry to Bundeena Wharf. The ferry trip is a pleasant 30 minute journey through Gunnamatta Bay and across Port Hacking. It is a short but quite hilly walk from the Bundeena Wharf to Simpson Cottage - we would recommend calling a taxi.
