Simpson Cottage features three generous bedrooms with accommodation for six.
The main bedroom, located at the front of the cottage, contains a queen bed, French doors opening out onto the verandah, and water views. The second bedroom may be configured as a king bed or two singles, while the third bedroom sleeps two people in double bunk beds, making it perfect for kids.
The delightfully cosy sitting room features the original working fireplace, high ceilings and more French doors that bring the outside in.
A rear extension to the cottage contains the modern kitchen, casual dining area, laundry and bathroom, all with under-floor heating. Kitchen appliances include a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, electric oven, gas cooktop and coffee machine.
The adjacent dining area provides a great spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun, with a washing machine and clothes dryer neatly concealed in storage cupboards. The spacious bathroom features a freestanding bath and a separate shower.
A few steps from the cottage patio, an equally cosy dining gazebo seats up to eight people and provides fantastic views over the bay. A ceiling fan and heater maintain comfortable temperatures in the space.
You also have access to the stylish converted garage, which includes a second bathroom, a TV, comfy sofas, and plenty of room to spread out. You’ll find a vintage pinball machine and a cupboard stocked with board games for rainy days. Apple TV and WiFi are included.
Simpson Cottage is perched on a hill above Bonnie Vale Beach, set in 1500m2 of lawns and gardens that blend gently into the natural landscape.
A large timber picnic table is positioned to take advantage of the beautiful bay outlook. Sip sundowners while you watch kayakers bob in the water, and cook up a feast on the patio with a modern gas burner BBQ (spare gas bottles provided). When you’re ready for adventure, head down the 50m track that leads directly to Bonnie Vale Beach and the Royal National Park beyond. The national park and other local sites are accessible via a short drive. Off-street parking is available for two cars - off-street parking is for up to two cars.
