After staying here and falling in love with the place, we’ve restored the cottage beyond its former glory and created a space where you can escape and spend time making memories with loved ones.
With three bedrooms and the original sitting room and its inviting fireplace you can immerse yourself in the history of the cottage. The kitchen and bathroom have been added to ensure a luxurious feel. The floors are heated and the kitchen is fully set up so you want for nothing if you decide to cook.
We’ve filled the cottage with treasures from a bygone era, but they must useful, have a story and be beautiful -everything is here for a reason.
The cottage features three generous bedrooms, accommodating a maximum of 6 people. The main room, located at the front of the cottage, features a queen bed and French doors opening out onto the verandah and has views over the bay.
The second bedroom may be configured as a king bed or two singles, while the third bedroom accommodates 2 people in double bunk beds, making it a great room for the kids.
A delightfully cosy sitting room features original features including an open fireplace, high ceilings and French doors opening onto the sunny vernada.
A rear extension to the cottage houses a modern kitchen, casual dining area, laundry and bathroom, all with under-floor heating. Kitchen appliances include dishwasher, microwave, fridge, electric oven, gas cooktop and coffee machine. The adjacent dining area provides a great spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun, with a washing machine and clothes dryer neatly concealed in storage cupboards. The spacious bathroom features a freestanding bath and separate shower.
A few steps from the cottage patio, an equally cosy dining gazebo seats up to 8 people, providing fantastic views over the bay. A ceiling fan and heater are provided in the gazebo.
The garage houses the second bathroom as well the TV and sofas. In here you’ll find a vintage pinball machine and a games cupboard. With sofas allowing for extra space and more areas to spread out and escape. Apple TV and WiFi are included.
